SkinPen Microneedling

Also known as dermal needling or collagen induction therapy (CIT), SkinPen Microneedling is a powerful remodelling treatment that improves the appearance of:

Acne scarring
Surgical scars
Fine lines and wrinkles
Enlarged pores
Melasma and hyperpigmentation
Skin Texture

We use a medical-grade, FDA and TGA-registered SkinPen device to create precise micro-injuries in the dermis. This stimulates a natural wound-healing response that promotes collagen production and skin regeneration.

    Treatment Plan

For deeper concerns, we recommend a series of 3–6 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, for optimal results. While some improvement may be visible immediately, your skin will continue to remodel and improve for up to 3–6 months post-treatment.

Following this, we’ll reassess your skin to either continue with another series or move into maintenance sessions every 6–12 weeks.

To purchase a treatment package, please contact us directly or mention this when booking.

    Each microneedling session includes:

A take-home recovery kit with skincare and aftercare instructions
    A complimentary 30-minute LED follow-up facial, booked 1–2 weeks post-treatment

This session uses Aduro Mask & Dermalux LED to support healing, boost hydration, and enhance overall results.

How does collagen induction therapy really work?

Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, works by creating controlled micro-injuries in the dermis using our advanced SkinPen device. These tiny punctures stimulate your skin’s natural healing process, triggering new collagen and elastin production — the building blocks of firm, youthful skin.

This healing process occurs in three key phases:

    Phase I: Inflammation (Days 1–7)

Your immune system responds by sending repair cells to the area. These cells remove damaged tissue, cleanse the site, and release growth factors that signal new tissue production.

    Phase II: Proliferation (Days 3–14)

New skin cells begin to multiply. Fibroblasts and keratinocytes work to produce fresh collagen and elastin, while new blood vessels and granulation tissue form to rebuild the structure of the skin.

Phase III: Remodelling (2 Weeks – 2 Years)

Your skin continues to rebuild and strengthen. Over time, the newly formed collagen remodels scar tissue, smooths texture, and improves firmness and clarity for long-term skin rejuvenation.

      PREPARATION & HOME CARE

To ensure optimal results from your professional treatments, we will recommend a personalised home care regime based on your concerns and skin condition.

The purpose of these products will be to prepare your skin for these intensive facial treatments, ensuring you have a strong barrier and your cells are functioning adequately. This includes inhibiting excess pigment or sebum production, allowing your skin to respond to these treatments in a more effective manner.

      These products could include:

      • Vitamin A - Cosmedix Refine, Cosmedix Refine plus or Cosmedix Serum 16
      • Tyrosinase/pigment inhibitor - Aspect Pigment Punch Plus or Cosmedix Simply Brilliant
      • Good basic regime including cleanser, exfoliant, moisturiser and sun screen from either Aspect or Cosmedix

      AFTER CARE
