- Avoid sun exposure and use a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen to prevent further sun damage
- Bruising, redness and swelling are common and resolve with time
- Pigment: treated pigment will turn darker (brown to black) within 24-48 hours. Do not pick at treated areas. Treated pigment will exfoliate off the face in approximately 1-2 weeks.
- Vascular: Post treatment swelling that can occur can include; none, bug bite appearance, tracking or visible treatment lines and chipmunk swelling of the cheeks. All are normal and resolves within 1-4 days. Individually treated vessels may appear darker in colour before they reduce.
- Skin tags: it can be normal for the skin tags to change colour or become dark post treatment. A little redness and discomfort can be expected in the 3-7 days until they fall off. The area where the skin tag has fallen off may be different in colour from the rest of your skin. If the skin tags are located in areas of friction, it is best to wear plasters to avoid inflammation and early removal. Do not pick and pull at treated skin tags - let them fall off naturally. Please note it may take more than one session for a skin tag to fall off.
- Notify us immediately of any concerns (blistering, excessive redness/swelling, etc.)
